This is a one-year full-time course which aims to prepares participants for work in a business setting. It has been designed to give students the necessary skills and knowledge to enable them to operate effectively in the most up-to-date business environment. Course participants should on completion of this course, be able to apply business methods and information technology in a modern business/office setting.

Students who successfully complete the course will have the qualifications and skills necessary to take up employment in a range of business, legal and administrative settings.
Students may progress to related Higher Certificate and Ordinary Degree Courses in Institutes of Technology throughout the country. Students may also apply for linked Honours Degree programs in Institute of Technology or Universities such as the Bachelor in Civil Law in UCC.
