'As I Am'

Today we were very fortunate in St. Joseph's to have guest speaker Adam Harris deliver a very informative talk on Autism. Adam set up the Autism organisation 'As I Am' and spoke to a number of students across all year groups. The talk covered a number of topics including how to become more Autism Aware and the strengths and challenges associated with Autism. We would like to thank Adam for travelling to Kerry to speak with us.

PROVINCIAL CAMOGIE REPRESENTATIVE

The school community are really proud of Miss Costello (third person from left), who was playing for Munster in the inter provincial competition last Sunday 21st May. It was played in Abbott's town, Co.Dublin. She played the entire match and the team were unlucky to be beaten by Ulster 3;11 to 1;18. A spectator  said if there were a few more minutes in the game Ulster would have been pipped at the post. The winners played Leinster in the final and were easy winners. Congratulations to Miss Costello on the great honour. Wishing her the very best for her future games.
